The responsibilities of the Senior IT Engineer include:

Ensuring a secure and efficient hybrid infrastructure which combines both on-premises and cloud elements.
Administering and enhancing systems such as Active Directory, Azure AD, and assisting in the management of Intune and M365 environments.
Initiating and implementing modernization projects along with security enhancements for the overall infrastructure.
Conducting vulnerability analyses and deploying various security solutions, including EDR, SIEM, PAM, and MFA.
Creating and maintaining automation solutions for infrastructure tasks using tools like PowerShell or Terraform.
Consulting with colleagues and other departments on IT issues and participating in architectural decisions.
Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, procedures, and instructions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The following skills and qualifications are necessary for the position:
A higher education degree in IT, computer science, or a related field.
Practical experience in IT infrastructure administration or engineering.
Proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, M365, and Intune.
Strong knowledge of networking basics, understanding of VLANs, Firewall rules, etc.
Familiarity with cloud solutions like Azure, AWS, or GCP, including their security aspects.
Experience in automating IT processes through tools like PowerShell or Python.
Understanding of information security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS is preferred.
Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and share knowledge within a team.
Professional certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Architect, VMware VCP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Red Hat RHCA/RHCE) are advantageous.
Salary and Employment Conditions
The position is a full-time role. The salary for this position ranges between 4100 and 4600 EUR per month (before taxes), along with performance-based financial incentives. The exact salary will be negotiated based on the candidate's experience, competence, and ability to achieve results independently.
