As an Accounts Payable Analyst at KMC Solutions Inc, your primary duties will include:
Managing the day-to-day operations of accounts payable (AP) for assigned accounts and supporting purchasing.
Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all AP transactions. This includes the daily review of invoices processed by AP processors, recording invoices in the Oracle AP module, and monitoring all transactions to ensure they are accurately assigned to the correct General Ledger (GL) and cost centers.
Assisting with problem-solving and the escalation of issues.
Reviewing and coding invoices to the appropriate GL accounts in compliance with the company’s purchasing policy.
Managing communications related to employee and vendor inquiries in a prompt manner, facilitating a smooth operational flow.
Collaborating with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations and testing requirements while supporting a global financial environment.
Performing other related AP duties, including assisting with the weekly payment runs and maintaining updated vendor banking information.
To qualify for the Accounts Payable Analyst position, candidates must possess:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable.
Proficiency in Oracle software (this is considered a strong benefit).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks without losing focus on long-term objectives.
Fundamental understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial statement presentation.
