The Quality Assurance Automation Developer will play a critical role in ARC'TERYX’s North Vancouver office, focusing on developing and maintaining a test automation framework. Collaborating with the QA Automation Lead, this developer will work in a hybrid remote setup, and must be eligible to work in Canada.
The team ensures software quality is at the forefront in all releases, relying on cross-functional teamwork. Each QA team member is integral in providing their expertise to ensure the highest quality code makes its way into production.
The QA Automation Developer will be involved in various critical activities, including assisting in developing a test automation strategy, implementing the framework, crafting automation scripts, upholding QA best practices, engaging in manual and automated testing processes, training team members, and maintaining crucial documentation.
Looking forward, there will be opportunities to collaborate with diverse technology teams, mentor QA staff, and influence the automation strategies within the organization.
The right candidate for this role possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, at least 5 years’ experience in software QA, expertise in various programming languages and tools, experience with different aspects of the automation process, and a deep understanding of Agile methodology and IS concepts.
