Position Overview

Antora Energy is seeking a dedicated Sr. Technical Program Manager for their Program Management team, focused on delivering zero-carbon industrial heat and power using a novel solid state thermal battery. This is a site-based full-time position located in San Jose, CA. Candidates must thrive in a collaborative environment and have a history of building strong working relationships.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

The Sr. Technical Program Manager will be integral in driving the development and execution of Antora Energy’s pilot systems, from the design and procurement to build and testing. This individual will play a critical role in defining project plans, managing resources, and ensuring that projects are delivered within scope and timeframes. With an emphasis on efficient cross-functional team coordination, this position will also refine systems for smooth operations as the organization grows.

Among other responsibilities, the role entails detailed project tracking, conflict resolution, tool management for engineering builds, documentation, and regular update presentations. Moreover, the candidate will act as one of the technical interfaces for existing and future grants and contracts supporting pilot projects.

Key Qualifications

Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience managing new hardware products from inception to deployment, particularly in sectors like industrial or high power systems on aggressive timelines. A bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field is required with mastery in managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders.

Additional Qualifications Desired

Antora Energy prefers candidates with a technical background in energy hardware, a master's degree in engineering, and experience progressing products from prototype to low-volume production. Additionally, experience in a cross-functional manufacturing environment with team management capabilities is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $147,000 to $185,000 USD per annum, with actual salary offered reflecting the candidate's expertise and credentials. Benefits include a competitive health package, 401K plan, flexible spending account, generous PTO, and paid volunteer time.
