As an AI Controls Solutions Engineer at Phaidra, you are essential in deploying and scaling the company's AI solutions for data center customers. You will blend your technical expertise with customer insights to drive the implementation of AI in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Your role encompasses collaborating with Technical Account Managers and Data Scientists to serve as a subject matter expert for Phaidra's products. You'll be responsible for creating facility models for the AI Agent and defining AI problems, as well as working with the product team to translate customer needs into product requirements. Additionally, you'll ensure that the company's automated tools enable scaling to meet the demands of thousands of customers.

Travel Requirement and Location Preferences

The position involves up to 25% travel. Phaidra is looking for candidates within the United States, Canada, India, Singapore, and other APAC countries.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should have a strong background in chiller plant fundamentals, cooling systems, control systems and protocols, and data center specific controls. Proficiency in Python scripting and excellent communication skills are vital, along with a passion for problem-solving and customer empathy.

Additional Skills and Experience

Beneficial skills include experience with scrum and agile methodologies, AI/ML applications, statistics, analytics, and familiarity with markup languages like XML, JSON, or YAML.

Onboarding Process

The onboarding process is structured to ensure a smooth transition into the company. Within the first 30, 60, and 90 days, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of Phaidra's operations, build essential working relationships, and start engaging with customers and code repositories.

Interview Process

The interview process includes a series of virtual meetings with various members of the team, focusing on different areas related to the job and company culture.

Compensation

The base salary range is location-dependent, with specifics provided for Singapore, India, and the United States residents. The position also comes with equity compensation.
