Job Overview

Klett World Languages is seeking a World Language Sales Consultant for the West Coast region. The position is remote and offers a full-time schedule, with a salary range of USD 60,000-68,000. The ideal candidate will be tasked with promoting language programs in K-12 educational settings, strategizing sales efforts, and providing outstanding customer service. The role includes substantial collaboration and requires travel to various educational events.

Main Responsibilities

The consultant will need to work closely with the sales team, attend and present at conferences, and provide training and support post-sale. They are also expected to support state, district, and school-level material adoptions and manage customer relationships using a CRM system. The role demands the promotion of programs, relationship building, problem-solving, and contributing to sales and customer satisfaction efforts.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must be authorized to work in the US and fluent in English and preferably Spanish, with proficiency in French, Italian, or German as a plus. They should possess a BA/BS or Master’s degree in Education/Teaching or a related field and have a strong understanding of the US K-12 educational system. Experience in instructional materials and their adoption is highly desirable. The consultant must exhibit excellent communication skills, sales aptitude, self-motivation, and analytical and organizational capabilities. The ability to travel domestically and internationally is essential, with an expectation of approximately 25% travel.

Physical Requirements

The consultant must be capable of handling physical activities at conferences and events, including moving boxes up to 30 lbs, standing for long periods, and packing materials efficiently.
