Role of Sr Project Manager - Systems Implementation

The Project Management practice group at NTT DATA Services is seeking a Sr IT Project Manager familiar with the implementation of Clinical Trials Management Systems (CTMS). This role involves transitioning from paper-based data collection to electronic methods and ensuring seamless data integration across various systems, for a global healthcare devices/life science client.

As a Sr Project Manager, you will function as a solution-oriented leader who employs program management techniques to facilitate and coordinate project execution, ensuring the realization of the project's vision. The successful candidate will be able to build and maintain relationships, focus on customer needs, and bring structure to ambiguous areas, achieving tangible business benefits.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to handle multiple data collection efforts and complex system implementations for CTMS.
• Implementing Organizational Change Management strategies.
• Managing interdependent workstreams, identifying potential risks and dependencies.
• Displaying strong leadership qualities and overseeing all aspects of project management, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Ensuring the project adheres to the Software Development Lifecycle and managing stakeholder relations, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Adapting to new high-priority projects as needed and maintaining effective communication with the team and leadership.

Basic Qualifications

• Holding at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related fields, with a Master’s degree being an advantage.
• Boasting over 15 years of experience as a Sr Project Manager, especially with Clinical Trials projects, and Data Integration Projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) credential preferred, and Agile CSM certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with Planview is beneficial.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Expertise in Organizational Change Management and the Pharma Industry.
• Strong communication skills for presenting and facilitating project details to various management levels.
• Self-motivation and exceptional leadership skills, able to influence under pressure and tight deadlines.
