Opportunity as a Lead Compliance Investigator

The Lead Compliance Investigator at GXO plays a critical role in the company's operations by managing global Compliance investigations and overseeing other internal investigations. This includes working with multiple departments like Legal, HR, Finance, and IT to investigate and address complex policy violations. The investigator also manages outside counsel, interacts with company leadership, and ensures alignment on investigation outcomes and remedial steps.

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Compliance Investigator is responsible for leading investigations into company policy violations, such as discrimination, harassment, fraud, and accounting irregularities. They assess cases, preserve and analyze documents, interview witnesses, develop findings, and propose remediation. The role also involves acting as a global mentor on investigation issues, providing training, recommending corrective actions, and supporting the Ethics & Compliance team.



Qualifications for Success

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree, significant experience in conducting investigations, familiarity with case management software, and strong communication skills. Familiarity with legal guidelines surrounding internal investigations and the ability to work across different time zones are essential. A JD, additional language skills, and certifications like CFE may be advantages.
