Additionally, immigration support for U.S. employees, such as H-1B visa sponsorships and green card applications, will be part of the responsibilities.
The position demands candidates with over eight years of progressive operations experience in human resources, including at least two years managing a distributed team across multiple U.S. states. While a bachelor's degree in human resource management or equivalent experience is necessary, PHR/SPHR certification is preferred. Understanding federal, state, and local laws, especially in states like California, is crucial.
Experience in benefits administration across various legal acts, partnering across departments, managing operations at scale, and handling sensitive information is vital. Proficiency in Excel and Google Suite is required, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a diverse environment. Experience in a non-profit or tech industry setting is advantageous, alongside flexibility to work in a globally distributed setup.
