We are on the hunt for a Senior Director of Account-Based Marketing to spearhead our go-to-market, demand generation, and lifecycle and upsell strategies across all product and service lines, especially concentrating on our enterprise pharmaceutical audience. This is a pivotal role where you will work closely with the Head of Marketing to formulate, prioritize, execute, and measure the company's marketing efforts. Your primary mission will be to strengthen and expand the company's already significant presence in the clinical research and pharmaceutical sectors while leading a dynamic marketing team.
As a Senior Director in our organization, you will establish and communicate account-based marketing strategies in collaboration with senior leadership. This includes effectively cascading strategy to the Marketing team and helping to shape organizational policies. You will be responsible for translating business line strategies into actionable functional plans and leading their execution. Additionally, you will participate in corporate development initiatives to establish methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and personnel within Marketing.
Financial stewardship forms a crucial part of this role, where you will ensure that marketing budgets and schedules are in alignment with corporate requirements and are meticulously managed to meet financial objectives. You will also create and drive the achievement of strategic yearly marketing plans that align with both marketing goals and organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree and possess 10 to 15+ years of experience in B2B enterprise marketing, preferably with a focus on the life sciences or biopharmaceutical industry. A deep understanding of marketing systems and advanced attribution reporting is required. You should be a quantitative and analytical leader with a proven track record of rigorously tracking goals and KPIs.
Creativity is key, as is the experience in laying the groundwork for substantial customer relationships, both financially and strategically. The ability to manage and drive multiple projects simultaneously in a high-energy environment is essential. The successful candidate will thrive on refining messaging and collateral, elevating communications from being approximately right to exquisitely precise.
