Role Overview

The field sales team at Tandem plays a critical role in education and support. Team members provide ongoing education and pump training to patients, customers, and healthcare professionals. This role involves leading educational classes that enhance diabetes management skills and collaborating with colleagues to develop strategies addressing clinical concerns.

This position is based in the Portland, OR area, though coverage for other regions in Oregon may be required. Candidates are required to reside in the greater Portland area.

Qualifications and Expertise

Tandem looks for candidates with either an RN, RD, or RPh alongside preferred credentials like CDCES or BC-ADM certifications. A minimum of two years of experience in coordinating and conducting patient education on diabetes technology is necessary. Additional experience in the diabetes or endocrinology industry is favored.



Strong communication skills and a willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory are essential. Candidates must maintain a valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance, complying with company policies.

Compensation

Base pay for the role ranges from $98,100 to $119,000 annually, with a target earning potential between $123,100 and $144,900. Compensation varies with experience and market conditions.
