About the Position

Tiller is on the lookout for a dynamic Social Media Manager and evangelist to join its team. As a Social Media Manager at Tiller, you will be responsible for driving engagement within the personal finance digital ecosystem through effective social media strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Posting: The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and sharing regular content across Tiller's social media platforms. This includes not only creating visually appealing posts but also ensuring the content is engaging and aligns with Tiller's brand voice. Additionally, the manager will be tasked with cross-pollinating ideas from the Tiller community across different forums and social media channels.

Community Engagement: Engaging with the Tiller community and fostering brand loyalty through active communication on social media and forums will be a crucial responsibility. The role requires responding to inquiries, fostering meaningful discussions, and sharing community insights with the internal team.

Trend Monitoring & Analysis: Staying updated on the latest industry trends and competitor strategies is imperative. The manager will track and analyze these trends, engaging with popular topics in the personal finance space, and adapting strategies accordingly.

Influencer Relationship Building: Another vital task will involve identifying key influencers in the personal finance arena, nurturing long-term relationships, and coordinating collaborations to enhance Tiller's outreach.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: The Social Media Manager will work closely with various Tiller teams to ensure social media strategies align with broader marketing objectives. This collaboration involves sharing feedback with product and customer support teams and participating in brainstorming sessions for innovative approaches.



Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for personal finance, accompanied by a deep understanding of financial topics and spreadsheets. Exceptional communication skills are a must, along with proficiency in managing and growing platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Reddit. Candidates should also possess strong analytical skills to track and interpret social media metrics. Experience in building relationships with influencers in the personal finance space is essential, as is an alignment with Tiller's values and a proactive approach to remote work.
