Applicants for the Animatic Animator position must be Texas residents. A strong understanding of 2D animation principles, including timing, spacing, and squash-and-stretch, is required. Candidates should have considerable experience as a 2D animator, with a solid command of character acting and performance, and proficiency in software such as Storyboard Pro, Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, or other equivalent tools. The ability to translate static storyboard panels into engaging performances while preserving the original composition and action is critical.
The role demands excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to feedback effectively. Strong organizational and communication skills are imperative to collaborating successfully with other artists and directors.
