Microsoft requires a candidate with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Operations, Finance, or a related field, alongside 8+ years of experience in Data Science/Analytics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Project Management within a Supply Chain or Operations domain. Equivalent experience is also considered acceptable.
There are specific security screening requirements for this role. The position demands the ability to satisfy Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, which includes passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in the fields mentioned above with over 12 years of experience or a Master’s Degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Equivalent expertise is also acknowledged.
The company indicates that the typical base pay range for this position across the U.S. is between USD $115,000 and $200,300 per year. However, different compensation ranges apply to specific locations, such as the San Francisco Bay area and the New York City metropolitan area, where the base pay is elevated to between USD $146,200 and $219,200 annually.
