Brand Experience Designer

At Divvy, we’re building an on-ramp to homeownership – one that’s more affordable, more flexible, and an overall better fit for the modern American family – and it’s working.

We’re looking for our very first Brand Experience Designer who can lead the development of a long lasting brand and bring it to life across many media touch-points: websites, social media, video, photography, print, swags, and more!

The ideal candidate has the ability to think systematically about a brand system and can articulate design decisions and iterate quickly.

You’re a visual craftsman/craftswoman and should have superb branding and graphic design skills, be a mastery of typography, comfortable with motion graphic design, and have big platform ideas to define and scale a brand identity visually, verbally, and emotionally.

Candidates should have experience being part of a brand or marketing team and working on a variety of projects with designers, content strategists, and marketing to guarantee a coherent brand expression across the Divvy ecosystem.

While this is a senior IC role it can grow into a managerial one as we scale the business.


  • Evolve Divvy’s Visual identity as we continue to scale.
  • Lead development of our brand guidelines.
  • Create and maintain a library of graphics and icons that can be used across marketing, print and product.
  • Partner with the content marketing team to apply user-centered methodologies.
  • Work with marketing to define and refine the brand positioning and messaging.
  • Share your knowledge, bring new ideas to the table, inspire, and collaborate with the rest of the design team to paint a vision for the Divvy Homes brand experience.
  • Work cross-functionally and collaborate with internal and external team members.
  • Can lead, source, and art direct creative teams.

Minimum qualifications

  • A portfolio showing your awesome visual chops ranging from logotypes to  brand system, graphics, icons, and more.
  • 6+ years experience working on a wide range of projects, including defining complex brand and sub-brands systems.
  • 3+ years of experience being part of a brand team (or equivalent), In house experience is preferred.
  • Amazing attention to detail, craft and a keen eye for typography, color and layout.
  • Has experience working with marketing to define brand strategy.
  • Motion graphic design experience with AfterEffects.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Great communication skills: you can clearly articulate your design decisions and you’re comfortable presenting work to cross-functional teams and executives.
  • Track record of operating independently and without much oversight.
