Argyle is a rapidly expanding, remote-first Series B startup focused on resolving a deep-rooted problem in the consumer finance industry. The industry traditionally relies on outdated, static documents such as credit reports and pay stubs. As such, it lags behind the digital progress of the modern world, while credit bureaus handle consumers' data without their knowledge or consent. This entrenched system results in operational inefficiencies and obstructs financial access, reinforcing the need for a modern solution.
Argyle aims to provide this solution. It offers a real-time income data platform that lets end-users connect their employment records to apps and websites instantaneously. This allows them easier access to necessary financial resources and qualifications for the same. Benefits to providers take the form of streamlined workflows and better transparency, reducing operational risks and costs along the user journey.
Argyle's mission is empowering consumers to control their income, employment, and identity data for a more effective, efficient, and equal financial system. If working remotely with a team of ambitious individuals in a multitude of countries aligns with your goals, Argyle encourages applications.
You will join the Scanner Engineering squads that build and maintain integrations to various systems by reverse engineering platforms and addressing complex problems. The team comprises highly skilled engineers, continuously looking for solutions to new challenges.
As part of Argyle, your responsibilities will include creating, owning, and maintaining Scanners, contributing to improvements like shared libraries and frameworks, and actively collaborating across different teams. The primary coding language is Python, along with various libraries such as Celery, Pydantic, Playwright, BeautifulSoup, and others. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, Github, ArgoCD is beneficial but not mandatory as these can be learnt post-joining.
Your application would need Python coding experience, JS/WebApps Reverse Engineering capabilities, quick thinking, the ability to manage rapid changes, ownership of your work, and a problem-solving mindset. Android/iOS device verification frameworks and bot and captcha bypass mitigation tactics would earn you bonus points.
Argyle offers a remote first work model with a diverse international environment, flexible working hours, stock options, flexible vacation leave, and a $1000 home office setup allowance post a month of employment, along with a MacBook.
