The lead will also bear the responsibility of ensuring high-performance, scalable, and maintainable platforms, selecting the right technical architecture, data model and framework, and overseeing the deployment of applications. Promoting client satisfaction through meaningful test coverage, driving code quality, and reducing QA engineer workload will also be their duty.
The job calls for superior educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related Software Engineering Qualification. Experience needs include 5 years of hands-on software development experience, 3 years in an Agile environment, and experience in managing a software development team. Exposure to e-commerce platform development is recommended. Leadership skills required are in-depth understanding of software development, excellent communication, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, the ability to drive innovation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, and mentorship. Development skills expected include expertise in NodeJS, NestJS framework, MySQL/MongoDB, experience in ReactJS, understanding of REST APIs, use of Docker, and more.
