Opportunity for a Scrum Master

Responsibilities of the Scrum Master

• Facilitating Scrum ceremonies and improving their efficacy,
• Resolving obstacles for the team's progress,
• Coaching the team in Agile and Scrum principles,
• Working with the Product Owner to manage and refine the product backlog,
• Establishing and tracking performance metrics,
• Driving continuous improvement and team best practices,
• Training and mentoring for enhanced Agile capability,
• Assisting in scaled Agile transformation efforts,
• Instilling motivation and goal-orientation amongst teams.

Qualifications and Skills Required

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Scrum team experience and will hold relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist. They should possess expertise in Agile principles and frameworks, proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, and G-suite, and have strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Additionally, they must be able to effectively manage teams and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Education and Blockchain Experience

A Bachelor's degree in technology or a related field is required. Passion and expertise in blockchain technology, including knowledge of DeFi, staking, UTXO model, DAOs, and an understanding of the major blockchain chains, are essential.

Job Location

The Scrum Master position is open in Ireland or the UK for the Cardano Foundation.
