The role permits fully remote work and demands top-tier communication and writing skills to thrive within a distributed, international team. A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development and release management is required, with additional experience in regulated environments being advantageous.
Your responsibilities as a Release Manager involve coordinating multiple team's efforts in release management, validating approvals and test results, scheduling, resourcing, risk management, process improvement, and audit presentations.
Required qualifications encompass a technical degree, a deep familiarity with Linux and Kubernetes environments, release management experience, and proficiency in using cloud services from AWS or Azure. An organized, detail-oriented approach and a data-driven mindset are essential.
Desired skills include hands-on experience with Application Release Automation tools (e.g., GitHub, Jira), proficiency in coding languages like Python, Go, Java, or Bash, and familiarity with Terraform, ArgoCD, Ansible is favorable.
