As part of the Engineering Product Excellence (EPE) team at Celonis, you will work alongside experts to shape the company's product through exceptional processes. The cross-continental team is responsible for managing the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, ensuring efficient software deployments and feature releases to Celonis's rapidly growing customer base.

The Role and Responsibilities

You will join a team that handles the CI/CD pipeline across the US and Europe, catering to both commercial and government clients. Collaborating closely with the Platform Infrastructure Engineers, Engineering Operations, and the Governance Risk and Compliance team, you'll help furnish Celonis's developers and customers with a stellar system.

The role permits fully remote work and demands top-tier communication and writing skills to thrive within a distributed, international team. A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development and release management is required, with additional experience in regulated environments being advantageous.

Your responsibilities as a Release Manager involve coordinating multiple team's efforts in release management, validating approvals and test results, scheduling, resourcing, risk management, process improvement, and audit presentations.

Qualifications and Experience

Required qualifications encompass a technical degree, a deep familiarity with Linux and Kubernetes environments, release management experience, and proficiency in using cloud services from AWS or Azure. An organized, detail-oriented approach and a data-driven mindset are essential.

Desired skills include hands-on experience with Application Release Automation tools (e.g., GitHub, Jira), proficiency in coding languages like Python, Go, Java, or Bash, and familiarity with Terraform, ArgoCD, Ansible is favorable.
