As part of the team, you'll take on crucial tasks such as planning production steering operations, building and managing the Production Control Steering Team, and overseeing processes from order receipt to vehicle handover. This role requires close collaboration with departments like Plant Direction, HR, Sales, and Purchasing to establish short and long-term production plans and procedures.

Strategic Collaboration and Monitoring

Coordinating with various departments, you're tasked with defining a ramp-up plan and market introduction targets, monitoring process chains to increase delivery reliability, and establishing a new vehicle distribution network. Reporting and problem-solving are integral parts of this role, ensuring optimal and timely delivery of vehicles, as is supporting process control through KPIs and managing the budget.

Location and Travel Expectations

This hands-on role is based out of Scout Motors in Columbia, SC, and requires regular attendance at in-person meetings and events. Applicants will need to be flexible for travel and ready to engage with Scout colleagues physically.

Candidate Profile and Experience

Prospective team members should showcase integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and a growth mindset, along with at least 7 years of experience in automotive production and logistics and 5 years in team leadership. A degree in engineering or a related field, strong understanding of production environments, exceptional problem-solving skills, and proficiency in quality management systems are also required.

Pay Transparency and Opportunities

This full-time, exempt position comes with a base salary ranging from $130,000 to $155,000 and eligibility for an annual performance bonus program. The role is designated as level M8.
