Role Description

OpenAI is in search of a Customer Success Manager to work hands-on with ChatGPT Enterprise users. The role is pivotal in customers' success, focusing on driving product adoption and satisfaction. The manager will work alongside Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to guarantee an outstanding customer journey. The position allows working from the San Francisco headquarters or remotely in NYC, with relocation support available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Build strong relationships to understand customer objectives.
  • Run training sessions with a scalability approach.
  • Formulate success plans featuring goals, KPIs, and timelines.
  • Develop resources based on customer interaction insights.
  • Channel customer feedback into product development.
  • Collaborate with Sales for a smooth transition from pre-sale to post-sale.
  • Identify and mitigate renewal or churn risks.
  • Encourage customer testimonials and case studies to promote advocacy.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in customer success or similar roles, preferably in a tech-focused enterprise setting. They should have a proven history of enhancing the customer journey, strong communication skills, and the capacity to address customer and product challenges actively. A humble attitude, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a commitment to ethical AI are also crucial.
