About the AI Prompt Engineer Role

As an AI Prompt Engineer at JustAnswer, you will be tasked with developing, testing, and improving large language model (LLM) prompts. By using entry-level Python and advanced LLMs, you will modify prompts to achieve a deeper comprehension of user needs and marketplace expertise. Your role involves processing data at scale to facilitate strategic decisions aiming to optimize the chatbot experience and drive revenue. Your expertise will support operations and enable the wider company to enhance their use of LLM prompts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct practical intermediate LLM prompt engineering.
• Utilize LLMs to analyze big data, curate desired outcomes, and evolve chatbot logic.
• Apply Excel and basic tools for efficiency analysis of LLM prompts.
• Improve products and customer experience through A/B testing.
• Create and optimize conversational flows to engage, convert, and support customers.
• Perform linguistic and functional quality checks for chatbots.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to explore new testing opportunities and conversational strategies.

What JustAnswer Seeks

• At least 2 years of experience in conversation design, software engineering, or computational linguistics.
• Experience (1+ years) in prompt engineering and extensive LLM experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with preference for advanced degrees.
• Experience in chatbot development or related AI projects.
• Proficiency in software languages like Python, knowledge of NLP techniques, and familiarity with various AI platforms.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a knack for problem-solving.
• Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions.
