Liaising with AR, Billing, AP, and Finance departments to assist with inquiries.
Reviewing monthly closing entries prepared by staff, including transactions related to Prepaid expenses, Fixed Assets, accruals, deferred rent, and AMEX entries.
Overseeing the accounting team to ensure timely close and compliance with reporting deadlines.
Reviewing balance sheet account reconciliations and preparing general ledger account analyses to ensure accuracy.
Maintaining an organized accounting filing system and preparing audit schedules as needed.
Conducting audit research to answer any queries related to financial transactions.
Assisting in the preparation of year-end tax schedules.
Managing the intercompany reconciliation process and supporting various month-end ancillary packages.
Providing backup for the Shared Services Department areas and assisting with ad hoc requests as assigned.
The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager position should possess a set of qualifications that align with the demands of the role, including:
Experience with large ERP and Accounting Software packages (such as SAP, Oracle, INTACCT, Net Suite, Maconomy).
Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of GAAP, FASB, and SEC accounting and disclosure requirements.

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required, with a CPA (or equivalent) preferred.
