Job Responsibilities

The Architect will play a pivotal role in the Cloud Infrastructure team, which employs a diverse set of cloud and open-source technologies. The Architect will:

  • Optimize and enhance existing infrastructure for better efficiency on cloud platforms
  • Take ownership of implementation processes, including support and maintenance
  • Develop scalable and maintainable systems
  • Build multi-tenant RESTful services at scale

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:



  • 12+ years of commercial software development experience in an Object-Oriented Language (Java, C#, Go)
  • Proficiency with AWS APIs and technologies: EC2, IAM, Route 53, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, Elastic Container Service, S3, EBS, VPC, Security Groups, EKS
  • Current hands-on experience with open-source technologies: Spring, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, JUnit, Tomcat, and Linux
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Linux Shell and Python
  • Familiarity with Immutable Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code technologies: Docker, Ansible, Packer, and Vagrant
  • Strong verbal and communication skills, with a background in mentoring teams

Nice to Have

While not mandatory, the following are advantageous:

  • Experience in building enterprise-level software for business
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies
