In this leadership role, your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and mentoring a team of Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Developing, implementing, and executing new clinical protocols and policies in collaboration with the Population Health team to meet value-based cost-of-care targets.
Acting as a strategic partner by building relationships with health plans, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
Collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer to shape clinical strategies that align with the growth objectives of the company.
Serving as a resource for complex clinical inquiries from front-line teams to ensure effective decision-making.
Candidates interested in the Associate Medical Director position should meet the following prerequisites:
Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine as either a Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), along with an active medical license in California.
At least 5+ years of clinical experience, including 2 years in leadership roles within safety-net healthcare settings.
Proven ability to create and implement clinical guidelines in dynamic healthcare environments.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with diverse teams, including clinicians, operations personnel, and population health strategists.
A demonstrated passion for serving vulnerable populations, particularly those experiencing homelessness or severe mental health issues.
