The Commercial Senior Loan Processor will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Reviewing loan applications to ensure they are accurate and complete.
Communicating effectively with loan officers and applicants to gather all necessary documentation.
Preparing and organizing crucial loan documents, such as credit agreements, promissory notes, and guarantees—making sure they comply with Servbank’s internal policies and federal regulations.
Maintaining well-organized and thorough loan files to ensure all documentation is included and labeled correctly.
Reviewing corporate documents to confirm the authority of signers, ensuring all necessary signatures are obtained.
Collaborating closely with account managers, underwriters, title, escrow, insurance agents, and other team members to ensure a smooth loan processing experience.
Providing regular status updates on processing activities and addressing any issues that may arise during the cycle.
Conducting thorough quality control reviews to identify and rectify any errors or omissions before documentation submission for approval.
Maintaining communication with applicants, regularly updating them and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Coordinating loan closings, preparing necessary documents, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a timely disbursement of funds.
Demonstrating expertise in the processing of SBA 7(a) and 504 loans, ensuring compliance with the SBA SOP.
To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet several qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial loan processing.
Solid familiarity with commercial loan products and documentation, including understanding SBA’s Etran system and relevant regulatory requirements.
A demonstrable attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to swiftly identify and resolve discrepancies.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and loan applicants.
Proficiency in loan processing software including Fiserve, Laserpro, DocuSign, among other relevant applications.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, but a post-secondary education in finance, business administration, or a comparable field is preferred.
