Position Details

The role is structured as a contract position lasting 5-6 months. The company prefers candidates who are located in the Central or East Coast time zones. The recruiter will be essential in supporting Centerfield’s 2025 Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) efforts, particularly in assisting Medicare Sales Agent recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

In the Contract Recruiter position, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to ascertain their hiring needs and provide guidance on recruitment practices.
  • Manage job postings across various platforms to attract qualified candidates.
  • Undertake initial resume screenings to align candidate qualifications with job requirements.
  • Utilize Fountain ATS to effectively sort and rank candidates based on merit.
  • Create a shortlist of potential candidates for further evaluation processes.
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess both qualifications and cultural fit of candidates.
  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Gather and analyze feedback post-interview from candidates and hiring managers to enhance the selection process.
  • Extend job offers to selected candidates and assist in confirming start dates and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate candidate data in the ATS for reporting metrics.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate must have:

  • 2-4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth startup environment within the Insurance industry.
  • Proven success in attracting and evaluating talent in a competitive market, preferably in-house.
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills to work effectively across the organization.
  • Expertise in guiding hiring managers on market trends, talent acquisition strategies, and interview best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and effective pipeline management.
  • A collaborative approach coupled with autonomy and an eagerness to contribute innovative talent strategies.

Bonus Qualifications

Candidates that possess the following will have an advantage:



  • Knowledge of the Fountain ATS system.
  • Experience in hiring for high-volume call centers or specifically for Insurance Sales Agents.
  • Proven recruiting experience across multiple locations.
