Job Role: Digital Marketing Manager

Nabu Casa is seeking to fill the position of Digital Marketing Manager. This hands-on role focuses on managing how Nabu Casa is represented online and ensuring effective digital marketing practices. As a Digital Marketing Manager, responsibilities will involve not just planning campaigns but also executing them and overseeing various digital marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will have the responsibility to:

  • Own the performance of Nabu Casa's digital channels, including the website, email marketing, SEO, paid advertising, and social media with defined targets for reach, conversion, and subscriber growth.

  • Plan, execute, and analyze digital campaigns end-to-end, ensuring alignment with product launches and commercial priorities.

  • Enhance organic search presence through an effective content strategy and on-site SEO to gradually reduce dependency on paid traffic.

  • Manage the email marketing efforts aimed at Home Assistant Cloud subscribers, including crafting lifecycle flows, product announcements, and re-engagement initiatives while diligently tracking engaging metrics.

  • Direct the budget allocation for paid digital marketing and closely correlate expenditures with ROI, ensuring focused optimization.

  • Provide weekly reports on digital performance and present actionable insights for next steps.

  • Foster and expand the presence of Nabu Casa within user communities such as Home Assistant forums, Reddit, YouTube, and other open-source or smart home arenas.

  • Experiment with new growth strategies like affiliate, referral, and influencer marketing through structured tests and documentation of findings.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates must possess the following skills:

  • Proven hands-on experience with managing digital marketing channels such as SEO, paid search, social media, and content, taking ownership of performance metrics rather than supporting roles.

  • Proficiency in analytics, enabling the building of dashboards and interpreting funnel dynamics, distinguishing important signals from less relevant data without needing a data team.

  • Exceptional copywriting skills suited for digital platforms, tailoring messages for a technically astute audience without condescension.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools, like Mailchimp or HubSpot.

  • A strong sense of autonomy with the capability to independently identify the next areas for focus.

Employment Terms

Being a fully remote entity, Nabu Casa does not enforce a strict schedule but expects employees to be available for at least three hours of overlap during regular working hours to facilitate team communication. The role reports directly to the VP Commercial, who is based in Norway.

Compensation Package

Nabu Casa strives to offer a competitive compensation package that aligns with the 75th percentile for the given role, seniority, and local market conditions. The expected yearly compensations in various regions are as follows:

  • Greece: 58,400 EUR

  • Poland: 370,000 PLN
