Key Responsibilities

The specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of audio and video equipment, including:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing A/V hardware like amplifiers, sound systems, automation controls (such as Crestron and PLCs), projectors, relays, pneumatics, and CCTV equipment.
  • Conducting routine maintenance to ensure all systems are running smoothly.
  • Developing and fine-tuning automation programs, utilizing platforms like SIMPL Windows, Function Block, or Ladder Logic.
  • Collaborating in the design of scenes for haunted houses, escape room puzzles, and other attractions, pushing the boundaries of creativity in technical implementation.
  • Installation, maintenance, and support for networking equipment, particularly Ubiquiti gear.
  • Operating, installing, and troubleshooting CCTV systems to enhance security and monitoring capabilities.
  • Researching and sourcing specialized equipment necessary for unique projects.
  • Balancing multiple projects to guarantee quality results that meet deadlines.
  • Implementing communication protocols such as Serial, MODBUS, Wi-Fi, and hardwired networking to ensure system integration.
  • Safely operating and maintaining tools essential for installation and maintenance tasks.

Required Skills

Candidates should possess a range of essential skills, including:

  • Experience working with automation platforms (Crestron, PLCs, or similar).
  • Knowledge regarding CCTV administration, such as hardware maintenance and data retrieval techniques.
