Position Details

The company is currently looking for a Head of Software Engineering—an instrumental role at this exciting juncture for the firm. Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Technical Leadership & Strategy: Define and implement the engineering vision and architecture, ensuring the best practices in software development and security.

• Team Management & Development: Lead and grow the engineering team, providing mentorship and support to create a high-performance culture.

• Product & Agile Development: Collaborate closely with product management and adopt Agile methods to ensure high-quality software delivery.

• Architecture & Infrastructure: Oversee the design and maintenance of scalable and secure C# .NET microservices, optimizing the cloud setup in Azure.

• Compliance & Security: Work with the CEO and CRO to improve information security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Required Skills

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Significant experience in software management and leadership.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET programming.
• Background in Fintech or financial services.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication abilities and advocacy for clean code.
• Experience with test-driven development and an understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI & CD) and cloud environments (preferably Azure).

Nice to Haves

While the above skills are essential, the following would be beneficial:

• Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
• Familiarity with app development using Flutter.
• Understanding of database management systems such as SQL or MongoDB.
