Overview

Cotiviti is seeking four interns to engage in low-code development projects within its dynamic team. This internship allows candidates to gain practical experience in software development by designing, developing, and maintaining applications utilizing Microsoft Power Platform technologies. Interns will work remotely and could potentially transition into full-time positions after completing the internship.

Roles and Responsibilities

The selected interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze project requirements.
• Designing and developing software applications while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Utilizing tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, AI Builder, Azure AI Studio, Co-Pilot, and DataVerse to craft effective solutions.
• Conducting comprehensive testing and debugging of applications to ensure high quality and reliability.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise, with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Delivering assigned projects and maintaining a project timeline.
• Staying updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in relevant technologies.
• Providing technical guidance and support to other team members.

Qualifications

To qualify for this intern position, candidates ideally should have the following characteristics:

• Current students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, with preference given to graduating seniors.
• 0-1 years of experience in software development, especially with Microsoft technologies like Power Apps, Power Automate, AI Builder, and Azure AI Studio.
• Strong communication skills, demonstrating effective teamwork and collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in one programming language, preferably Python.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Capability to work both independently and in team environments, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality deliverables.

Mental and Physical Requirements

Candidates should also be prepared to meet various mental and physical expectations, such as:

• Effectively communicating and exchanging information with others.
• Engaging in critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Maintaining concentration and focus in a workflow context.
• Engaging in prolonged periods of stationary work, which may involve repetitive motions of the wrists and hands.

Sufficient high-speed internet access and a designated, secure workspace are also required for remote work.

Compensation and Benefits

The internship offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $25.00, determined by factors including experience, education, skills, and certifications. Interns classified as nonexempt are eligible for overtime pay, complying with state regulations regarding work hours.
