Evaluating vendor proposals and terms to ensure favorable pricing structures and supporting cost-saving initiatives by developing reporting tools related to software inventory and utilization.
Assisting in software audits and compliance reviews while participating in software consolidation during company acquisitions by standardizing multiple contracts into unified agreements.
Candidates for this position must possess:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management, specifically in finance-related environments.
Strong knowledge of SaaS licensing models and agreements from major vendors like Microsoft, Adobe, and Github.
Proven abilities in vendor management and contract negotiation, as well as exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Experience using tools such as PowerPoint, Google Suite, OKTA, and other related software.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams, advanced customer service, and stakeholder management skills.
The following qualifications are preferred but not required:
Experience in managing AI software platforms and their respective licensing models.
Familiarity with SAM/ITAM tools such as ServiceNow SAM Pro, Zylo, Torii, or Flexera.
Understanding of software compliance and audit management practices.
Relevant certifications like ITIL or CSAM.
