Job Responsibilities

As a Java Backend Developer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the PaceMateLIVE™ platform. Your responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing your Java expertise to work with HL7 data, ensuring smooth integrations via HL7 and FHIR protocols.
  • Developing RESTful web services in Java to further enhance the existing functionalities.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise from these integrations, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to gather requirements and facilitate successful implementation of solutions.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

PaceMate™ is looking for candidates who possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Java development is required, with a strong focus on healthcare integration preferred.
  • Extensive familiarity with HL7 data, and experience in working with FHIR APIs is essential.
  • Proven experience with the Spring Framework; knowledge of Spring Batch Framework is a bonus.
  • Proficiency in using version control systems like Git.
