Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Achieving agreed-upon new business sales targets and acquiring new logos.

  • Developing and managing a successful sales pipeline through to deal completion.

  • Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.

  • Networking and managing attendance at relevant events.

  • Clearly articulating Jumio’s offerings and competitive advantages to potential clients.

  • Closing deals and acquiring market share from competitors.

  • Developing and maintaining connections via calls, emails, and meetings.

  • Capturing accurate records of all sales activities to further enhance the sales pipeline.

  • Building long-lasting relationships with clients to drive referrals and testimonials.

  • Collaborating with pre-sales, marketing, and account management to ensure a positive customer experience.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • Knowledge of ID verification, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), or Know Your Customer (KYC) markets.

  • A proven track record in relationship building across enterprise accounts, ideally achieving sales quotas of $1-2M or more per year.

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience selling value-add software solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate value effectively.

  • Proven negotiation skills alongside proficiency in customer relationship management tools, preferably Salesforce (SFDC).

  • Experience working with regulated industries (e.g., finance, fintech, digital identity) is preferred but not essential.

Additional Skills

It is advantageous for candidates to have:

  • A network of contacts within the regional enterprise customer base.

  • Competitor product awareness.

  • A degree in a relevant field (not essential).

  • Experience managing larger deal sizes (starting from $150K).

  • Comfort with lengthy sales cycles that may range from 3 to 9 months.
