Job Responsibilities

In this dual-role position, the Manager, Account Management will balance responsibilities between individual performance and team leadership:

  1. Enterprise Account Expansion & Individual Performance (50%)
    The manager will personally manage and grow Swing Education's top 25 enterprise accounts, employing best-in-class account expansion strategies. The role will require driving district-level expansion by activating additional sites within schools and increasing platform adoption. The manager is expected to create high-impact customer engagement sequences that maximize retention and account growth. Establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers—such as CHROs and Superintendents—will be essential for ensuring customer success and initiating upsell opportunities.

  2. Team Leadership & Mentorship (50%)
    The manager will lead and mentor a team of Account Managers focusing on driving revenue expansion, customer retention, and overall satisfaction. Responsibilities include being a hands-on coach, shadowing calls, reviewing deals, and establishing KPIs for team performance. The manager will also need to develop processes and practices that enhance the team's performance while ensuring adherence to high HubSpot CRM standards.



Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in account management, enterprise sales, or customer success, with a minimum of 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • K-12 district sales experience is a significant advantage.
  • Proven record of successfully managing and expanding enterprise accounts, consistently exceeding revenue and retention goals.
  • Experience in leading and scaling account management teams within a high-growth environment characterized by rapid changes.
  • Strong executive presence to foster trust with district leaders and school administrators.
  • Data-driven decision-making capabilities with proficiency in account health tracking, expansion forecasting, and optimization processes.
  • High proficiency in CRM tools, preferably HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • A passion for educational technology and marketplace businesses is also highly desirable.
