Role Responsibilities

In this role, you will actively engage with the Open Source Core alongside Workbench and MotiaHub production facets. Your work will include:

  • Strengthening the Node/TypeScript engine to guarantee seamless cross-language integrations (Python, Ruby, etc.)
  • Enhancing the React + Vite-based Workbench UI to improve visualization, debugging, and upcoming AI/agent workflows.
  • Developing both front-end and back-end web applications for hosting, deployment, and observability.
  • Orchestrating services through platforms like AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Refining CI/CD pipelines and implementing environment versioning strategies.
  • Collaboratively developing advanced deployment strategies for multi-tenant staging and secure multi-environment setups.

A Typical Week

A typical week in your position may involve:

  • Implementing a new cross-runtime “Step” runner that enables developers to add AI functionality seamlessly.
  • Enhancing the open-source React-based flow visualizations to allow for better node grouping and provide advanced logging insights.
  • Designing secure deployment flows with zero downtime for enterprise clientele.
  • Tuning automated QA checks, adding performance monitoring tools, and ensuring smooth integration of container updates with minimal downtime.

Required Skills

To be successful in this position, candidates should possess:
