To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, Instructional Design, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent work experience can also be considered in place of a degree.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a technical writer, instructional designer, or content developer, ideally in healthcare, real estate, or senior housing environments. Experience with Yardi or similar property management platforms is preferred.
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Exceptional writing and editing skills with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content.
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and visual tools like Visio or Lucidchart. Experience with content creation tools such as Articulate 360, Snagit, or Camtasia is a plus.
