Notable Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining Ruby on Rails systems that are utilized at scale.

• Owning features from their implementation all the way to production, ensuring a smooth deployment process.

• Writing and maintaining automated tests, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (E2E).

• Investigating production issues, debugging complex problems, and engineering practical solutions.

• Improving performance, reliability, and maintainability of the systems you work on.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.

• Proven experience in building and running production systems.

• Strong backend skills, including familiarity with databases, performance optimization, and API design.

• Significant experience in writing and maintaining automated tests, particularly E2E tests.

• A curiosity about AI technologies and the ability to use AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and workflows.

  

Desirable Skills

While not mandatory, candidates with the following skills will have an advantage:

• Knowledge of React.

• Understandings of CI/CD, background jobs, or experience with AWS.
