Company Overview

Cobalt was established to address a crucial human aspiration: the quest for a safer and improved quality of life. Founded in 2013, the company has evolved since then, recognizing that penetration testing (pentesting) could be enhanced. Today, Cobalt features a diverse, completely remote workforce dedicated to providing effective and collaborative Offensive Security Testing services. This empowers businesses to operate fearlessly and innovate securely.

The organization prides itself on facilitating a quick start to pentests, sometimes in as little as 24 hours. Customers can efficiently integrate services with advanced development cycles, enabled by a robust SaaS platform and an elite group of testers referred to as the Cobalt Core. This exclusive community is highly selective, accepting only about 5% of applicants, and consists of over 400 vetted testers known for conducting thousands of tests annually. They play a pivotal role in identifying and addressing risks across dynamic attack surfaces.

Cobalt is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce. The company believes in engaging with various individuals, communities, and organizations to cultivate a rich cultural atmosphere where everyone can excel in their authentic selves.
