Job Description

Position

The role offered is for a People Operations Specialist, specifically focused on supporting the EMEA region. This full-time position is aimed at individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and genuinely people-centric. The specialist will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth employee journey from onboarding through to offboarding, with special attention to the onboarding experience of new hires. The successful candidate will enhance the operational side of the People function, ensuring it operates smoothly and with an emphasis on respect and care for employees.

Responsibilities

In this role, the People Operations Specialist will be responsible for a variety of key functions:

  • Process Coordination: Coordinate and execute essential People Operations processes across the EMEA region, which encompasses onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee data management.

  • New Hire Orientation: Facilitate and own new hire orientation sessions tailored for employees in EMEA, ensuring that their first-day experience is engaging and reflects the company culture effectively.

  • Point of Contact: Serve as the central contact for employee inquiries related to policies, tools, benefits, and other People programs, providing guidance and support as needed.

  • Leave Policies Management: Coordinate country-specific leave policies and assist employees with questions regarding entitlements or local practices.

  • HRIS Maintenance: Maintain and update employee records in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) such as BambooHR, HiBob, or Workday, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with IT and various departments to verify a seamless onboarding setup process for new hires, including access to accounts and hardware.

  • Program Administration: Help in administering and organizing People programs like performance reviews, engagement surveys, and learning & development initiatives.
