Job Title: Prestige Sales - Global Trainer

Helen of Troy is hiring a Global Trainer who will support the North America Field Team. While preference is given to candidates situated in the Boston area, this role is predominantly remote, making it accessible to a broader audience. You will play a crucial part in developing and implementing educational programs and collaborating closely with the Education teams. This position is expected to align education efforts with strategic company initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Education Development

  • Collaborate with Education Directors and the Events Manager to formulate innovative educational strategies.
  • Implement plans aimed at bolstering business growth across the entire product portfolio.
  • Support both internal training initiatives and the actual educational experiences of sales consultants, store employees, and salon teams.

Territory Sales Management

  • Create and execute strategic growth plans alongside retail partners for increased sales and solid long-term relationships.
  • Organize in-store events that amplify customer experience and boost brand visibility, ensuring that sales targets are consistently met.
  • Maintain robust engagement during store visits and develop strong relationships with key retail partners such as Ulta, Sephora, Nordstrom, and Macy’s.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and inspire Account Coordinators and Independent Contractors, ensuring that sales goals are met.
  • Cultivate an open, collaborative environment to drive high performance in your teams.

Operational Excellence

  • Set measurable goals and make swift adjustments if needed to meet targets.
  • Utilize tools like Salesforce for strategic operations and tracking.

Required Skills

To be successful in this role, candidates should exhibit:

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, adaptable to varying audience levels.
  • Proven sales growth, particularly in the beauty industry, with strong connections across retail environments like Ulta and Sephora.
  • Insight into the hair category, particularly regarding curly or textured hair.
  • Flexibility to develop strategic territory plans and maintain excellent communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, along with expertise in negotiation, sales planning, and relationship management.
  • Established experience in coaching, process development, and market strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, along with at least 6 years of experience in a related field.
  • A licensed and actively practicing Hairstylist or Cosmetologist is essential.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary for traveling to diverse store locations.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work full-time within the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of additional languages, preferably English/Spanish or French.
  • Previous media training experience is an asset.

Compensation Details

In California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York, the salary range for this role is between $70,447 and $88,059 annually.
