About the Role
Alpen Labs is currently seeking a Recruiting Lead to spearhead its talent strategy and manage full-cycle recruiting as the company scales its operations. In this pivotal role, the Recruiting Lead will collaborate closely with the founders, hiring managers, and People Ops to attract, hire, and retain exceptional talent while simultaneously ensuring a world-class experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.
What You’ll Do
The responsibilities of the Recruiting Lead are diverse and encompass several critical aspects, including:
Partnering with founders and hiring managers to understand workforce planning and headcount priorities.
Developing a robust recruiting roadmap that aligns with the company’s milestones and funding stages.
Advising leadership on market trends, compensation insights, and effective sourcing strategies.
Managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and outreach to screening, interviewing, and extending offers for open roles.
Building and maintaining diverse candidate pipelines using a variety of sourcing strategies such as direct sourcing, referrals, and leveraging external networks.
Overseeing the scheduling and logistics of interviews, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams.
Crafting compelling job descriptions and managing their dissemination across various platforms, including Greenhouse, LinkedIn, and specialized job boards.
Acting as the face of Alpen Labs for candidates, demonstrating the company’s unique culture and mission.
Ensuring a high-quality, consistent candidate experience from the initial touchpoint through to onboarding.
Collaborating with People Ops and Marketing on initiatives to enhance the company’s employer brand, which may include managing careers pages, social media presence, and various events.
Maintaining and optimizing the Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse), ensuring accuracy in data and producing useful reports.
Introducing lightweight metrics and dashboards to monitor recruiting performance, focusing on measures such as pipeline diversity, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness.
Documenting and iterating best practices for recruitment processes and developing effective interview guides.
Regularly updating founders and hiring managers on the status of searches and candidate feedback.
Training and supporting interviewers to ensure effective and unbiased evaluation.
Working closely with People Ops on aspects related to compensation, offer management, and onboarding.
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in the Recruiting Lead role, candidates should ideally have:
Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, especially in fast-paced or startup environments.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to effectively collaborate with various team members.
Experience in hiring for technically focused teams, as the role demands understanding complex technical requirements.
A passion for creating diverse and high-performing teams while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Comfort in utilizing recruiting metrics and ATS systems to drive ongoing improvements in recruitment processes.
Knowledge of the Web 3 and Crypto market is preferred, as it aligns with the company’s mission and culture.
