Job Summary

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a range of essential tasks including but not limited to:

• Conducting balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Preparing general ledger account analyses to ensure accuracy.
• Maintaining revenue recognition processes and other related financial statements.
• Collaborating with Staff Accountants to reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis.
• Aggregating and recording month-end expense accruals.
• Preparing month-end journal entries and managing intercompany transactions.
• Researching and proposing solutions regarding open items on balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting month-end ancillary packages and Hyperion trial balance uploads.
• Assisting with both internal and external audits as required.
• Participating in ad hoc financial requests and maintaining internal control procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To qualify for the Senior Accountant role, candidates should possess:

• Familiarity with large ERP and Accounting Software (such as SAP, Oracle, INTACCT, Net Suite, Maconomy).
• Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in General Ledger analysis and capable of reconciling accounts.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience.
• Basic skills in Excel, particularly familiar with Sumif, Vlookup, and pivot tables.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Residency in Latin America is a requirement.
