Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

Required Skills

Candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Cloud/DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated communication skills and the ability to think analytically.
• A willingness to learn and deliver practical, clean solutions.
• Experience in operating and scaling SaaS platforms, ensuring performance, high availability, data security, cost efficiency, and reliability.
• Proven experience in the architecture and design of complex cloud-native systems.
• Familiarity with best practices and standards across various teams.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes (specifically EKS, self-managed clusters), Terraform (for Infrastructure as Code), and Docker & Helm for application deployment.
• Knowledge in automation, observability, and delivery tools, which includes scripting (preferred Ruby, but also Python and Bash), Go programming, application monitoring and logging (using tools like Elasticsearch or OpenSearch), and understanding CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
• Competency in networking technologies such as VPCs, Routing, Load Balancers, and DNS.
