As a Senior Digital Content Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in launching and developing the organization's new website. Your primary responsibility will be to create engaging and SEO-optimized content that reflects the brand's identity, voice, and content design best practices. This role emphasizes collaboration with various teams, including the marketing and design teams, as you work towards a phased launch of the website.
You will report directly to the Head of Digital Content and collaborate closely with the Websites Manager, Digital Marketing Analyst, and other content specialists. The goal is to ensure that the website provides an exceptional digital experience that fosters customer growth.
Your main responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks designed to enhance the effectiveness and visibility of the website:
Website Copywriting: You will manage the content creation for the core web pages necessary for both the initial launch and subsequent phases of the site. It's essential that all content adheres to the brand’s tone and meets user needs with clarity and precision.
Content Redevelopment: This will involve re-writing existing content—such as PDFs and flyers—into engaging, user-friendly formats that enhance accessibility and comprehension for users.
SEO Optimization: You will leverage data-driven keyword research to ensure that content is optimized for search engines. This means understanding user intent and aligning the content consequently.
User Insights Analysis: Understanding user needs is key. You will analyze research interviews to identify pain points and utilize these insights in creating user-focused content.
Content Workflow Management: You will oversee the flow of content among editors and subject matter experts, ensuring a smooth workflow and timely delivery of content updates.
Design Collaboration: Working with the design team, you'll identify needs for each webpage and ensure delivery of necessary visual assets like graphics and illustrations.
Competitor Research: Analyzing competitor websites will allow you to discover content gaps and enhancement opportunities, ultimately adding value to the website content.
Long-Form Content Development: This includes re-developing important pillar content to assert topical authority on the site by collaborating with subject matter experts from both Texthelp and n2y.
