  • Issuing certificates of eligibles to management officials and preparing notifications of results for candidates.

  • Coordinating and supporting rating panels that review applicant materials and conduct quality assurance checks on staffing case files prior to extending employment offers.

  • Engaging in outreach activities for recruitment and maintaining comprehensive staffing documentation that meets federal requirements.

Required Skills

The position requires a strong set of skills and knowledge, including but not limited to:

  • In-depth knowledge of federal staffing and recruitment procedures along with an understanding of Delegated Examining requirements and related responsibilities.

  • Proficiency in USA Staffing to support the recruitment process, including job postings and other key actions.

  • Ability to conduct thorough job analyses and develop specific experience statements to accurately reflect vacancy requirements.

  • Familiarity with various assessment tools, including USA Hire, is critical for effective applicant evaluation.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple recruitment actions simultaneously.

Background and Qualifications

Candidates interested in this role should have a solid background that includes:

  • A minimum of five years of relevant federal government staffing experience.

  • A current Delegated Examining certification issued by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

  • Proven experience in posting vacancy announcements using USA Staffing and developing USAJOBS listings.

  • Competence in reviewing applicant eligibility, qualifications, and veterans’ preference to ensure compliance.

  • Exposure to high-volume recruitment actions within a federal environment, preferred experience supporting the Department of Justice (DOJ) and EOUSA operations.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while an undergraduate degree is preferred for consideration.

Employment Details

The job is classified as a full-time remote position, allowing for stable employment with a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay and job stability. The standard work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time, accumulating a total of 40 hours per week.

Travel is not currently required but may be needed in the future depending on specific staffing needs or events.
