As a Senior Migration Consultant, the individual will be integral to migration processes for Veeva’s Vault R&D applications and Vault Platform solutions. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leading customer migration implementations and offering expertise in data and document content migration.
Advising customers on the ETL process (extract, transform, and load).
Mentoring Veeva Data Migration Specialists and contributing to the organization’s knowledge base to enhance the migration program.
Providing guidance on migration tool development and assisting in project scoping estimates for the Vault R&D product suite.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
7+ years of experience in document/content migration with enterprise content management systems, including Documentum, OpenText, Box, or SharePoint.
7+ years of experience with database migration in enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce.com, PeopleSoft, or Oracle.
7+ years experience in customer-facing technical consulting, engaging with senior management and executives as a subject matter expert.
Proven ability to lead and mentor team members.
Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Must be legally authorized to work in both the U.S. and Canada.
While not required, the following skills would be beneficial:
Experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
Knowledge of Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, or Safety business processes.
Project management experience for enterprise software implementations.
Familiarity with GxP and software validation regulations.
Experience with migration verification processes.
