As a Senior Migration Architect, the individual will lead customer migration implementations, closely collaborating with varied Veeva teams like Services, Product, Sales, and Strategy to advocate for customer success.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Provide subject matter expertise for Vault R&D migration implementations. This includes the migration of data and document content from legacy systems to the Vault.
Guide customers through the extract, transform, and load (ETL) process, ensuring smooth transitions to the new system.
Mentor Veeva Data Migration Specialists regarding migration activities and share best practices.
Contribute to the Professional Services knowledge base to enhance the migration program.
Develop guidance and expertise on migration tool development for the ETL process.
Assist in estimating project scopes for the Vault R&D product suite, ensuring all action items are within professional standards.
Candidates looking to apply should possess a set of key skills and experience:
7+ years of experience with document/content migration using various enterprise content management systems such as Documentum, OpenText, Box, and SharePoint.
7+ years of experience with database migration via enterprise software systems, including SAP, Salesforce.com, PeopleSoft, Oracle, among others.
7+ years of customer-facing technical consulting experience, demonstrating capability in meeting with senior management and clients.
Proven expertise in leading and mentoring team members.
Proficiency in working with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 10%.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
While the above skills are required, candidates with the following experiences may have an advantage:
Experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
Familiarity with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, or Safety business processes.
Project Management experience related to enterprise software implementations.
Knowledge of GxP and software validation regulations.
Experience with the migration verification process.
The salary range for this position is between $90,000 to $185,000. This range reflects local regulatory compliance and represents the potential base salary depending on individual qualifications, experience, and contributions. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, including variable bonuses and potential stock bonuses.
