The Role of an SEO Manager

As an SEO Manager, your role is crucial in boosting organic traffic growth and enhancing our online presence. Your main responsibility is to develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy that aligns with Revolut's objectives. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that our website and content are optimized for search engines, thereby increasing organic traffic.

Your responsibilities include producing and managing SEO-optimized content for landing pages in collaboration with SEO and Copywriting teams. You will conduct keyword research using SEO tools to create content that attracts new customers and drives traffic to our pages. Sharing content insights with the team and implementing Revolut's broader SEO strategy will also fall under your purview.

Moreover, you will understand the needs, wants, and interests of potential new customers to effectively target them through our content. Ensuring that our content aligns with SEO, legal, and brand guidelines is also part of the role. Additionally, you are responsible for identifying and establishing valuable link-building opportunities to boost our domain authority and search engine rankings. Enhancing the internal linking structure of our website to improve SEO performance and customer navigation is another key aspect of your job.

Skills and Experience Required

To excel in this role, you need to be fluent in English and have over three years of experience in SEO marketing, preferably within a fast-paced, hyper-growth global tech company. It is crucial to have a proven track record as a successful SEO Manager with an in-depth understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods. Understanding keyword intent and what constitutes impactful content is essential.



Proficiency in using SEO tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Semrush, among others, is required. Experience in conducting keyword research and identifying content gaps is also necessary. You should be a team player with experience in collaborating across functions. A data-driven approach and the ability to quantify your work appropriately are important. Additionally, you should possess excellent self-organization skills to manage tight deadlines effectively. Knowledge of markets and the competitive landscape in the fintech or payments industry is also a key requirement.
