• Conducting user acceptance testing and maintaining quality control to ensure reliable system performance.

• Developing and implementing an internet-based business issuance system, which might include preparing documentation, conducting training, and creating timelines for project deliverables.

• Assisting with the development of both business and technical specifications for new features and enhancements.

• Conducting research on bond requirements and maintaining commercial surety bonds within existing systems.

• Supporting the Director of Surety Data Solutions with the development of queries and reports, and databases needed for workflow management.

Required Skills and Experience

Core Specialty is seeking someone with a robust blend of technical and analytical skills:

• Proficiency in data technologies and programming languages, such as SQL, Power BI, Excel, and Visual Basic, is essential.

  

• The candidate should have the capacity to apply analytical methods to complex business processes to devise effective solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Experience with project management methodologies, especially Agile, and the ability to adjust to changing priorities while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong background in the surety industry, with 5+ years of experience demonstrating a successful track record in process improvement and automation.

• A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field is preferred.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for the position is $60,000 to $75,000. The specific offer may vary based on the candidate’s skills and experiences. Additionally, the disclosed pay range can be adjusted considering the geographic differential for the location of employment.
